NiftySentinel AV archive is a private tool run by one person, Aswin Varghese, for his own data. This policy describes what the tool does with the Google account access it is given.
When the owner signs in, the tool asks for the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file permission. This permission only covers files and folders the tool itself creates in the owner's Google Drive. The tool cannot read, list or change any other file, and it does not read the owner's email, contacts, calendar or profile.
The tool uploads backup copies of the owner's market-data recordings to a folder in the owner's Drive and compares them with the originals to confirm they are identical. It uses this access for nothing else.
No data is shared with, sold to, or transferred to anyone. The tool has no other users, no advertising, no analytics and no cookies, and this website sets none.
The sign-in token is kept in a file readable only by the administrator account of the owner's own server. The uploaded files are stored in the owner's Google Drive and are protected by the owner's Google account.
The files stay in the owner's Drive until the owner deletes them. The owner can withdraw the tool's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions; the tool then stops working and can no longer reach the Drive.
NiftySentinel AV archive's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
